Launching a New Luxury E-Commerce Brand
For the launch of the brand, we collaborated with the M.Monroe team to imagine their digital brand presence on Shopify Plus and build a website that captures the essence of the brand while also creating an easy, intuitive e-commmerce experience.
The Story of Marilyn & M.Monroe
The inspiration behind every M.Monroe piece of jewelry is as important as the piece itself. To help bring these unique stories to life, the website features Collection Story pages that offer a peek into the design process featuring everything from inspirational quotes to sketches to on-model photography. Every Collection Story page is shoppable, making it easy for customers to dive right in once they’ve decided what they’re looking for. “Quick View” allow customers to add products to their cart from anywhere that products are featured.
M.World is a place for customers to further discover the connection between Marilyn Monroe and the brand through quotes, articles, and other editorial content.
Exploration and Discovery
The Product Listing Page is optimized for both mobile and desktop shopping and encourages exploration through easy filtering so customers can find exactly what they’re looking for or casually browse. The page also features story callouts within the product grid where customers can dive deeper to learn more about the inspiration behind relevant collections.
Easy to Purchase
When it comes to the Product Detail page, our focus was making it easy to learn about each product and navigate through the many product variants. Other features like the custom cart notification help make the checkout process as clear and seamless as possible.
Gifting
To account for the large segment of jewelry shoppers who buy products for others, gifting options were integrated in the checkout experience and in the Cart. With any gift order, customers receive their package with their message hand-written inside.
Beyond the Website
In addition to the website, we also designed a number of email templates to be used for communication with customers pre and post purchase. Emails included product highlights, welcome series, abandoned cart, transactional emails, automations, product announcements, and many more.
